Before starting work, you should carefully check the spelling of the text portion of the engraving project, and if conditions permit, print the contents and confirm with the customer. If you want to avoid the dislocation of the sculpture in the process of engraving, you need to do a good job of prevention, and implement the corresponding solution when the dislocation problem occurs.
Error checking:
a. Check whether the pliers or clamp used for engraving are wrong
b. Whether the pliers or clips are worn
c. Pliers or clip ends are too tight
d. For sculpted objects with irregular shapes, check whether they sway back and forth when subjected to downward pressure
The solution:
a. Because the engraving machine is often equipped with multi-functional pliers or clamping head, and its material is made of iron, it is easy to cause damage to the carved object or make it slip in the process of engraving. Rubber caps or rubber tubes should be used to fix the carved object.
b. Try to pad waste materials under the object to increase friction or retain the packaging of the object, or use tools to fix the regular parts and discard the irregular parts.
c. If the downward pressure of the carved object is large, the cone knife nose can be used to reduce the pressure. The pressure on the side of the tool will cause the sculpted object to move if the diamond head moves too much during engraving or if the wrong diamond knife is used.
d. When carving a medal, if you find it difficult to fix the medal, try Play-Doh clay.
e. For carved plastic patterns, paste the transfer tape on the back of the carved object, spray the side with the tape with liquid spray glue, and paste it on a surface that can be discarded. Because the transfer tape is easy to peel and clean, it can reduce the production of adhesive adhesives.
