Precautions for using laser and colored light

◇ In the course of optical treatment, the operator should minimize the potential risks to the person present and the possible side effects to the customer

◇ During the course of treatment, unauthorized persons are forbidden to enter

All reflective materials and inflammable materials should not be placed in the treatment room, such as mirrors and reflective glass objects

Carbon dioxide extinguisher should be placed in the room

◇ Beauty care center should keep the fire outlet unblocked

Doors should be kept closed and Windows should be covered with light - proof curtains when necessary

◇ The door of the room shall be locked and can be opened from the outside in case of emergency

Warning signs should be posted outside the room and hung at eye level. The warning plate should be removed after the course of treatment

◇ Ensure that only authorized persons (including operators, safety officers) who have been trained in the basic operation of the instrument are allowed to operate the instrument in the room.

Check the normal operation of the instrument, such as whether the power supply is normal or whether the instrument has sufficient water level; In addition, there should be enough instrument parts. Are other parts of the instrument damaged? For example: filter, gun head, filter condition, etc

◇ Before the treatment, the operator shall understand the customer's detailed medical history and explain to the customer the possible side effects of the treatment

When performing cosmetic laser or color light procedures, the customer and operator must be provided with goggles with adequate protection against different wavelengths of light.

The specifications of safety goggles for operators and customers are different. Safety goggles are worn by customers with the highest level of protection, ensuring full coverage and tight fitting of the metal mask. Goggles worn by the operator shall effectively protect the light emitted by cosmetic lasers and coloured light and provide acceptable safe transmittance

◇ The operator must ensure that all persons present (including the customer and the operator) wear appropriate goggles and must be informed to close their eyes before each exposure

The operator shall perform a "skin test" to assess skin reactions and possible side effects in an inconspicuous area or on a similar skin type before formal exposure (regardless of skin rejuvenation or depilatory treatment)

Skin test should be carried out 48-72 hours before treatment to ensure safety

◇ After the treatment, customers may be advised to use some soothing lotion to reduce the discomfort of the skin after the treatment. In addition, in terms of care, customers should be reminded to wear sunscreen and avoid exposure to strong sunlight

◇ When the treatment is completed, the operator must properly dispose of the color light or cosmetic laser instrument (for example, turn the instrument off or adjust the instrument to the setting of "standby" program). The key of the instrument shall be kept by the designated person in charge.
